We own over 20 Haas VF2-SS Vertical CNC machines. These machines come with 4th axis trunions and Kurt double lock vices that allow the completion of side features in a single hit.

The cutters in our CNC milling machines are able to move along numerous axes, allowing us to create an assortment of shapes, slots and holes. Because of this innovation, it’s possible to produce very large volumes of high precision components, quickly and accurately.

Prototyping

More often than not, new designs present unexpected problems.

Because of this, prototyping is important in CNC milling to allow us to test the concept or process exercised to make the product. The results of the prototyping will either be replicated or learned from.

Prototyping allows the chance to evaluate the design and answer any queries. Engineers use the prototype to explore options for design alternatives, test theories and confirm performance prior to mass production of the product. Crucially, prototyping saves companies a lot of money by allowing changes to be made early on in the process. Once a design has been created within CAD, this design then controls the machines that construct the parts.
